Croon&LogiskAB Combustion concept

Optimization is our thing!

Vi optimerar förutsättningar för en
stabil förutsägbar drift.

Why?
Fuel variations such as density and fuel value cause production disturbances and flue gas emissions.
Where?
All combustion equipment can be fitted with this control concept, representative combustion plants using non-homogeneous fuel. Solid and liquid.
How!
Croon&LogiskAB Controlled fuel amount in the boiler optimizes the conditions for a stable predictable operation. Follow-up regulation of power. Less unburned in bottom ash and fly ash. Minor sintering of ash particles. Lower NOx CO and dust emissions. Power take-off optimization.

Croon&LogiskAB Combustion concept

The concept uses scientific algorithms for calculating the combustion profile and regulates the fuel amount to the optimal level. Preferred air / fuel share is maintained through the loading area, and in case of repeated load changes. Repeatable combustion profile. Educational HMI, for control and monitoring. The plant is complemented by the necessary sensors and actuators to achieve the right functionality. The minimum level is primary air flow, secondary air flow (OFA), madid O2, also preferred is continuous fuel injection.

Croon&LogiskAB Option
can compensate for variations in fuel moisture

If the plant completes with dry O2, then calculation of fuel moisture can be made.
The regulation can optimize the operating parameters for burning with varied moisture content.

Facts

Rich‐burn (overload of fuel) usually occurs:

Long bed = unburned "rolls over the edge”
Cold bed = "sluggish" regulation, which does not respond to load change.
Low pressure drop over bed = difficult with the distribution of primary air over the surface.
High proportion of secondary air = capacity problem and theoretically higher Nox.

Lean‐burn (substance of fuel) usually causes:

Sintering = high bed temperature.
Transmission = high proportion of unburned in the airplane.
Higher dust emissions. High CO = glow fire in the flue gases.
High CO = small proportion of secondary air gives little penetration and poor mixing.
Short bed = hasty and difficult regulation.
Small fuel volume on rust = decreases power during loading. Higher wear of masonry and roster elements.
